To work as a delegate, another Office 365 user needs to give you permission (i.e., access rights) to their Calendar, Inbox, etc.Your delegate permissions depend upon what rights to which folders (Calendar, Inbox, etc.) the other person gives you.
It is not recommend to have more than one Delegate.
When using Delegates, limit the number of editor/author delegates to one or two people.
A manager and delegate should not be configured as delegates for each other.
Does anyone else have an issue with larger shared mailboxes (even those only about 2GB in size) not automatically updating for users?
I have a client with only 5 users, all running Outlook 2010. The largest one, about 2.5GB in size, just does not want to automatically update for any of the users.
